BIPRO 3 – Daily ease

It’s a few years since we last marketed a tandem harness. In the meantime our development team have been putting together a lot of ideas as to how a tandem pilot’s harness can be made more comfortable, lighter and simpler to deal with. The new BIPRO 3 is the result. It embodies our vision of the consummate tandem harness for everyday use, and comes out in April.

It begins with weight. The BIPRO 3 M size weighs only 2.6 kg; this includes the EN/LTF certified foam protector. Comfortable V-legpads make for a comfortable seat and leg position behind the passenger. Good adjustable support for the backside contributes to further comfort. An innovative Easy Fold Feature - in fact a hinge-like seam behind the protector - assists fast, easy and small packing.

Thought out to the smallest detail

The legendary ADVANCE Get-Up-System has two ultra-modern, efficient and very strong Edelrid Triple Lock buckles; there are GoPro and camera stick holders on both sides, an orange coloured lining in the back pocket (26 ltr volume) – easier to see what’s in there - and a very sturdy, 10 mm YKK zip. These make the BIPRO 3 a sophisticated tandem harness – down to the last detail.

This tandem seat comes in two sizes, L and M. A protector handle makes it easy to remove. By doing so you can save another 500 gms of the 2.6 kg weight (M size), for example, or make another 17.5 litres of storage space.

New ADVANCE Tandem spreaders

In April, at the same time as this BIPRO 3 launch we are bringing out some new, weight-saving ADVANCE tandem spreaders. These go perfectly with the BIPRO 3 and the BIBETA 6. Notable feature of the three versions (Hard Hybrid, Soft, Soft Trim) of these spreaders are cleanly routed and channelled reserve connections permanently in place. This saves a carabiner, and the reserve attachment check before takeoff.
