Live your dream of flying with a glider you can trust 100%: as a classic for first flights - and beyond - the ALPHA 5 offers maximum beginner-friendliness and passive safety. This fifth generation of the Alpha dynasty builds on 20 years’ experience of making paragliders, and takes on board the latest technology.
Reduced canopy weight and profile-holding Nylon wires in the leading edge make the takeoff behaviour even better than before. The ALPHA 5 needs even less pull to pull up, and fills even more reliably from the centre. And, as well, the ALPHA 4’s already high level of passive safety has been further improved by a redesigned internal structure. The ALPHA 5 was also tested over an expanded weight range, intended to increase the dynamic possibilities of the wing. The wing still gets an A certification, and this further demonstrates its substantial passive safety margins in an impressive way.
The ALPHA 5 is available in five colour combinations and four sizes (23, 26, 28 and 31). All four sizes will be classified EN/LTF A. Flight tests for the 26 and 28 are already complete.
