| Podium for ADVANCE at the Pre-Worlds
13.03.06 | From March 5 to 11, 150 pilots from 27 countries registered competed at the Pre-Worlds 2006 in Manilla, Australia. The pilots flew 5 tasks ranging from 56 to 125 km with pilots in goal every day. Conditions were a little slow at times and tactics were more important than speed. The French brought a strong team and it showed in the results. From Team ADVANCE, Enda Murphy (AUS) finished 3rd and Jinoh Kim (KOR) 9th, the competition was very tight all week. In the serial class, Thomas Nilsen from Norway was able to win his first task with an Omega 6. Now the pilots leave Australia to meet in Castelo, Brazil where the first PWC of this season will take place from March 18 to 25. ADVANCE wishes all pilots a lot of fun and happy landings for the new season! Results Back to: News |
