OMEGA 8 winning streak

29.11.11 | All over the world ADVANCE pilots are flying up to the podium with their OMEGA 8s! Sharing Andy Hediger’s recent success are Rafael Danty Albino and Godfrey Wenness.

After Andy Hediger’s win in last week’s Pre-PWC in Argentina, Brazilian Rafael Danty Albino recorded another South America success for the OMEGA 8. He flew his ADVANCE EN-D wing into third place in Serial Class overall at the  Brazilian Championships, after coming a splendid first in the final event in São Pedro.

Australian Godfrey Wenness won the perfect result with his OMEGA 8 by winning both Serial and Open titles in the 2011 XC Open World Series. This year’s XC Open comprised multiple-day contests in Araxà (Brazil), Manilla (Australia) und Portugal. Godfrey was able to take advantage of low scoring in Araxà and Portugal due to weak conditions – by then storming ahead with tip-top flights on his home patch Manilla (Australia), where competitors could rack up points on 10 of the 11 race days.

ADVANCE congratulates these three pilots on their great OMEGA 8 successes!
