IMPRESS 3: new date for market introduction
25.05.11 | There are still some more important innovations to be completed in the final phase of IMPRESS 3 development. This means, of course, an adjustment to the market introduction.
The IMPRESS 3 leads a generation of reclining harnesses, which will set new standards in weight, comfort, aerodynamics and compactness. The realisation of all these innovations and the integration of the unique LIGHTNESS concept into the IMPRESS series is a complex and intricate exercise.
Recently the IMPRESS 3 underwent a full test of high G loading at the GForce Trainer in Austria. This showed that the new and innovative closure system for the reserve compartment worked perfectly under difficult conditions.
There are still additional features to be included in the new product, for example a chest strap/speedbag safety link, so the end phase of the IMPRESS 3 development is calling for more time than originally planned. This means that the anticipated market introduction will be postponed until late summer. Detailed information about the launch will follow as soon as production has actually started.
