ADVANCE at the Coupe Icare 2006
27.09.06 | ADVANCE products were presented at the exhibition which is a major part of the legendary free flight festival in France. The new high-end cross-country paraglider the OMEGA 7 and the highly successful iMPRESS harness were the centres of attraction!
This year’s Coupe Icare was the 33rd event to be held in the French town of St.Hilaire. Even though the weather conditions weren’t perfect, the flight festival was a huge success. Pilots coming from all over Europe and even further away took the opportunity to compare products from a diverse range of marques during the largest paraglider trade fair in the world.
ADVANCE presented all paraglider and harness models. There was great interest in the brand new OMEGA 7, which will soon be available for test flights in all 4 sizes. At the show, ADVANCE exhibited production details like the Smart Sail system, the 2-phase speed system and the specially coated lines.
Events of this type are extremely valuable for ADVANCE because the exchange of experiences with pilots constantly yields new insights which often find their way into ADVANCE products. There is no lack of humour and good spirit during the exhibition!
