The twelfth Spanish Paramotor Championship took place from the 22nd to the 25th of May in Lebrija in the Sevilla area, and welcomed pilots from the whole country. Current world champion Ramon Morillas won the PF category (foot launched) with his EPSILON 5 and PAP Top 80 engine.
This makes Ramon Spanish Paramotor Champion for the eighth time. Following him in the overall rankings are Juan José Garcia and César Maldonado.
Despite rough weather, several tasks were flown over three days, with two types of flight - on the ground and in the air. In the first type of task the pilots had to show precision and dexterity over courses with turn points. In the second kind, called "in the air", navigation, distance and duration were the criteria.
This summer the European Paramotor Championships will take place in Poland. Ramon Morillas, a Spanish national team pilot, has taken part in international championships since 1997. Since then, he has won 8 individual medals, and 7 medals as a Spanish Team member.
Congratulations Ramon and good luck for the European Championships!
