Evolution of the ADVANCE development team
02.02.12 | ADVANCE is restructuring its development team and broadening its paraglider development activity.
We enlarged our harness development team in the middle of last year by the addition of Patrick Bieri, a budding designer from Thun, so that, in future, Marcel Lamprecht can help with paraglider development alongside his harness work.
Our policy of using our own software tools for an analytical means of developing paragliders and harnesses has proved very successful, as the current ALPHA 5, SIGMA 8 and IMPRESS 3 models show. So, from now on, Will Anderson will be supporting chief designer Thomas Ripplinger in the field of software development. The American-born is a qualified aeronautical engineer. We are looking forward to this collaboration!
Bruce Goldsmith will be leaving Advance in the spring for a new project. We thank him very much for the collaboration we have had and we wish him well and much success in his new direction.
