Our higher performance models are provided with a purpose built variable-geared speed system. The length of the speed bar travel and its loading can be adjusted for leg length and position:

1st stage:-  light-loaded 3:1 ratio when legs are bent.
2nd stage:-  efficient and direct 2:1 ratio with legs straight.

The 2-stage-system gives the precise feel needed for active wing control with the speed bar.
