Compared with rectangular cell openings of the same area, ADVANCE's semi circular ones align more efficiently with the stagnation point on the leading edge as it moves with varying angles of attack.

This improves the internal wing pressure and thereby the stability of the canopy. In addition, their shape guarantees a smooth distribution of the tension forces and an even loading of the leading edge.

It's also worth mentioning that wing inflation during the launch phase is improved.
